Audiovisuals, Afterwards...
By Daniel Cartín
There are many human and material factors
involved in the organization of a congress
and they will be determined by the peculiarities
and characteristics of it. Traditionally
the organization which summons a congress
looks for objectives of general character,
determined to convey what a particular group
represents, does or can do for enhancing
citizen's quality of life.
Within such context, the
organizers of the congress are concerned
in coordinating all details related to it
which range from protocol, banquets and
luggage up to the entertainment of participants.
However, one of the resources that traditionally
has been disregarded is the one related
to the requirements of audiovisual equipment.
It happened mainly because it was previously
considered as a secondary factor for a successful
development of a congress. Though, this
is not the case anymore.
The availability of sound
amplification and projection has become,
as time goes by, the best tool for every
presenter to the extent that many of them
request to do all kinds of technical tests
before starting his presentation to verify
that the equipment and the presenter are
"in tune".
The manufacturing industry
of audiovisuals equipment has understood
this trend and it is dynamically contributing
to the market, supplying sophisticated equipment
which allows the presenter to convey his
message to the audience in a clear and occasionally
impressive style.
With the purpose of generate
satisfactory results to all the ones involved,
the enterprises which offer to rent audiovisual
equipment are becoming fully aware of its
importance in the development of a congress
by working hand to hand with the customer
to provide him all available services in
this field.
That is why, when a congress
is to be summoned by any organization and
once the main objective was already defined,
it should take pencil and paper and first
of all, jot down the need of audiovisual
equipment, listing afterwards the remaining
requirements which should start from this
very premise.
An image is worthy than
one hundred words, a sound draws the attention
of the most distracted one and an action
is capable to convince the most incredulous.
Success must be taken for granted to someone
who understands and implements it when holding
an event is all about. |
